Frequently Asked Questions
Do I really need a makeup artist?
YES! Despite what many women think, women's daily makeup routines are not camera-friendly and will not last 12 hours or longer. If you want your bridal makeup to last a long day of tears, sweat, and heat, you need a makeup artist who specializes in bridal makeup. This is one day you cannot afford to leave your face to chance, especially with heavy photography & videography coverage involved.
How long is a makeup application?
This depends on which service you are booked for! Typical appointments run about 45 to 90 minutes. Please make note for all services, 15 minutes is needed for setup. and 15 minutes for tear down. This will be calculated into your wedding timeline!

I normally wear very little makeup; will I need to wear lots of makeup to look good?
Not at all, the service is about enhancing your natural features and creating a look that feels like you, just more polished, ensuring you look flawless on and off camera. Bridal makeup is all about good balance therefore, we will ensure there is a balance of what will look good on camera and still natural to make sure you feel comfortable with your chosen look.
Are wedding makeup trials required?
Trials are highly recommended for brides! This is a very helpful appointment to ease anxious brides to ensure the wedding day goes smoothly. That way we may decide which bridal look complements you and your style. This session will be completed at your home. During this session, we will have an in-depth conversation about the goals you have for your wedding and how we will achieve them. Nevertheless, I am more than happy to meet the bride the day of the wedding and get her to glam perfection just as smoothly as if we tested it out ahead of time with a trial.
↳ How are trials scheduled?
Trials are scheduled on weekdays (Tuesdays-Thursdays) based upon availability.
Do you charge travel fees?
Short answer? Yes. Travel fees cover the cost of gas and mileage necessary to travel to and from your location from my home base in Oceanside, California. Travel within Oceanside is complimentary!
What products do you use?
I use a vast variety of professional products, and have favorites from many lines. Some of the top brands you may see in my kit are: MAC, Makeup by Mario, Dior, Patrick Ta, Colourpop, Charlotte Tillbury, Natasha Denona, Bobbi Brown, Fenty Beauty, ILIA, and many other prestige and pro brands.
When should I book my wedding date?
My most popular months are May - November, and all dates are first-come, first-served. Most weddings are booked 6-9 months in advance, but I may be able to accommodate bookings with less notice if I am available. Dates are not held without a signed contract and payment firmly in place.
